Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Walker (ranked 2117 p4p, 22688 weight class) and Yoji Anjo Anjo (ranked 280 p4p, 588 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yoji Anjo Anjo!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker dips to his left and cracks Anjo with an uppercut!
It looks like Yoji Anjo Anjo has been cut.
Walker throws a hook to the side of Anjo's head but Anjo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Anjo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Walker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anjo scrambles back to his feet.
Walker lands with a nice body kick.
Walker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Anjo drives through with a takedown into Walker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Walker wants to stand up but Anjo is controlling him.
Walker trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Walker pushes Anjo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker throws a jab but it's blocked by Anjo.
Anjo fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Anjo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Anjo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chief Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anjo slips a jab from Walker.

Walker throws a right and a left that Anjo avoids nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Walker.
Walker is looking to score with low kicks.
Anjo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Anjo tries to stall but Walker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Walker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Anjo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Anjo manages to stand up with Walker still on his back. Eventually Walker drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Anjo tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it.
Walker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Anjo tries to move into range but Walker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Walker throws out a loose jab but Anjo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Walker is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Walker sets himself, and Anjo steps forward looking for the clinch! Walker avoids it this time.

Anjo slips a jab from Walker.
Anjo throws a chopping leg kick but Walker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Anjo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Walker has time to react.

and Anjo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Walker has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Anjo is on him like a limpet, forcing Walker back against the cage.

Anjo jumps guard but Walker stands there with Anjo around his waist. Anjo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Chief Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoji Anjo Anjo.

Walker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Walker scores with a nice hook to the head.

Walker lands with a short shot to the head.
Anjo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Anjo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Walker prevents it.

Walker lands a hook that snaps the head of Anjo backwards.
Walker throws a punch but it's blocked by Anjo.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Walker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anjo successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anjo is on top in guard.
Walker has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Anjo is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Yoji Anjo Anjo's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Anjo defending well as Walker loads up on a big left hand.
Anjo tries to sprawl but Walker drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Anjo is positioning himself well to prevent Walker advancing to mount.

Chief Walker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Walker escapes and gets back to his feet.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Anjo.
Walker sneaks out the side door and pushes Anjo away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Walker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anjo can do to turn this around?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Anjo is breathing heavily.
Walker cracks Anjo with a left hook right on the temple and Anjo goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Walker lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Anjo is OK!
