PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seo Boy (ranked 3589 p4p, 3241 weight class) and Adam Porsche (ranked 397 p4p, 371 weight class). Porsche comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hate it or Love it kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Seo Boy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seo Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Porsche!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porsche avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Boy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Porsche. That did some damage!
Boy throws a leg kick that misses.
Boy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That kick from Boy tenderised Porsche's leg. Porsche is trying to keep his angry face on.
Porsche on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Porsche fails to land the takedown.
Boy misses with a low kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Boy.
Porsche shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boy but Boy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Porsche has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Porsche wants a takedown but no success here.
Seo Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Porsche.

Porsche pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Porsche gets in close and instigates a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Porsche's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Porsche moves into the clinch successfully.
Porsche stalling against the cage.
Come on Porsche - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Boy avoids the elbow strike from Porsche, against the cage.
Boy is trying to force a seperation but Porsche has the dominant position.

Porsche pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Boy misses with a low kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Porsche checks a low kick from Boy.
Porsche lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Porsche shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Boy is wriggling around but Porsche manages to pass to half guard.

Boy pushes Porsche off looking to stand but Porsche dives back in and keeps control.
Porsche trying to mount his opponent but Boy defends it.
Boy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Porsche on the ground.
Boy pushes Porsche off but Porsche dives into side control.
Porsche works to advance to full mount. Boy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boy wants to try and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porsche controlling from mount.
Porsche throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Boy because Porsche loaded up on that one.
Porsche looking to ground and pound but Boy is blocking nicely.
Porsche thowing shots but they're missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boy is trying to stand up.
Porsche content just to control the position here.
Boy is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Porsche takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Porsche throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Porsche is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Boy is surviving well by controlling Porsche's body position as best he can.

Porsche working for a submission but Boy is keeping him at bay.
Porsche has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Porsche has hold of Boy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Boy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Porsche.
Boy is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Porsche takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Boy wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Porsche tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Porsche punching from mount but Boy doing a good job of avoiding damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Porsche dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Good work by Porsche as he checks the leg kick.
Boy thumps Porsche with a low kick.
Seo Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Porsche clinches up against the cage.
Boy is trying to break the clinch but Porsche has him pressed against the cage.

Porsche pulls Boy into guard.
Porsche seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Porsche bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boy's guard.

Porsche won't allow Boy to get back to his feet.
Boy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Porsche sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boy's guard.

Boy kicks Porsche off and gets back to his feet.
Boy connects with a solid leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Boy. That's going to slow Porsche down.

Porsche shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Boy tries to kick Porsche off in order to stand up. Porsche Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Porsche controls the position.
Boy tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Boy won't enjoy being in this position. Porsche looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Boy is tapping - it's over boys! Porsche picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Adam Porsche!
