The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nettles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moralez.
No joy there for Nettles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chris Nettles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nettles rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moralez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Moralez misses with a few strikes there.
Nettles shoots in but no luck this time.
Moralez lands a glancing blow to the side of Nettles's head.

and Moralez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Moralez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moralez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nettles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Moralez moves in looking to clinch but Nettles pushes him off.
Nettles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moralez but Moralez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Moralez counters with a series of strikes. Nettles will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nettles keeps the fight on the outside.
Moralez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
