Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hero Shima (ranked 593 p4p, 498 weight class) and Parta Matti (ranked 75 p4p, 64 weight class). Shima comes to the cage accompanied by C. R. E. A. M. Matti is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Language (Hula Cam) - Porter Robinson. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shima ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

As Matti tries to get set, Shima tries to push him back and clinch up but Matti manages to avoid the attempt.

It looks like Parta Matti has been cut.
Shima's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Matti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shima scrambles back to his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Matti darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That has opened up Parta Matti's cut even more.
Matti moves out of range as Shima strikes.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Matti, as that shot connected.
We've been informed that Matti has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Shima fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matti manages to avoid it.
Matti displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shima throws out the jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matti steps in with a hook that catches Shima right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Matti follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Shima looks absolutely devastated.

A less than humble Parta Matti misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
