Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Flick (ranked 24824 p4p, 24422 weight class) and Malik Grawner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik Grawner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans Flick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Malik Grawner!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grawner shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flick napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Flick trying to remain calm as Grawner controls from the top position.
Grawner tries to score with some ground and pound. Flick controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Grawner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Flick parries the strikes from Grawner easily there. Grawner is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Flick to escape.
Grawner moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grawner decides to stand up, so the ref orders Flick to his feet.

Grawner misses with a head kick.

Flick is looking to stand back up but Grawner counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Flick.

Grawner's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Grawner works his foot free and advances to mount.

Flick is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Grawner locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Flick is forced to tap!
