Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pepper Brooks (ranked 1759 p4p, 1691 weight class) and Filip Yumashev (ranked 102 p4p, 95 weight class). Brooks kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pump Up The Jam. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Brooks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Yumashev throws a looping overhand right but Brooks ducks down to avoid it.

Yumashev walks into a jab.
Brooks tests Yumashev's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Brooks is looking to clinch but Yumashev is avoiding it.

and Brooks counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Pepper Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brooks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yumashev.

Yumashev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brooks manages to avoid it.
Brooks lands a glancing blow to the side of Yumashev's head.

Brooks misses the shot to the body.
Yumashev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Yumashev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brooks sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yumashev takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Brooks tries to close the distance and clinch but Yumashev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yumashev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brooks moves away.
Yumashev dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brooks cracks Yumashev with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Brooks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yumashev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Brooks is rocked!
Yumashev ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Brooks out cold! The fight is over!
