The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fucsovics gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nicholas to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Fucsovics is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Nicholas presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Nicholas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fucsovics is just riding it out for now. Nicholas eventually gives up the hold.

Fucsovics is not content to let Nicholas control the position.
Nicholas wants to free his trapped foot but Fucsovics is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nicholas wants to get up but he can't break Fucsovics's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Nicholas gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Fucsovics gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
