Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dax Ryan (ranked 2522 p4p, 3336 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 305 p4p, 391 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dax Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily
and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Ryan's head.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.

Ryan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lee on his heels. He'll look to pass Lee's guard now, I'm sure.
Ryan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ryan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lee down.
Lee tries to escape but Ryan is in control.

Lee takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ryan has control of an arm but Lee manages to advance to Ryan's back!
Lee is hanging on to Ryan's back as he tries to escape.
Ryan just trying to survive but Lee is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Ryan manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lee's guard. Nice work there by Ryan.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee controls Ryan momentarily but Ryan frees himself.
Ryan cracks Lee with a solid left hand.
Ryan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard.

Lee works his way to full guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ryan cracks Lee with a solid left hand.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ryan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Lee wants to control but Ryan is keeping busy.

Ryan is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Lee is hurt! He's hurt bad - Ryan fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Lee from any more punishment! Congratulations to Ryan! Great finish!
