Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Smith (ranked 2257 p4p, 3339 weight class) and Boris Yeltsin Jr (ranked 271 p4p, 357 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Boris Yeltsin Jr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a lazy right hand but Yeltsin Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Smith misses the body punch
and Yeltsin Jr counters with a straight right hand.
Yeltsin Jr rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smith counters with a two punch combo.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yeltsin Jr misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Yeltsin Jr misses with an uppercut.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Yeltsin Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Yeltsin Jr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Yeltsin Jr scores with a kick to the body.
Smith tests Yeltsin Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yeltsin Jr lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Smith can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Yeltsin Jr and Smith drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Yeltsin Jr.
