Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Marciano (ranked 732 p4p, 1216 weight class) and Rupert Helenius (ranked 100 p4p, 168 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mikey Marciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rupert Helenius!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Helenius eats them both and turns towards Marciano to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Helenius has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Nice body kick from Marciano.
Helenius throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Marciano feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Helenius doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Marciano counters with an inside leg kick.
Marciano throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Marciano cracks Helenius with a right hand to the side of the head.
Helenius misses with a hook
and Marciano counters with a right hand to the body.
Helenius throws a sloppy head kick
and Marciano counters with a good low kick that Helenius was not able to check.
Helenius looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid body kick from Marciano.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marciano jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Marciano. Helenius shrugs it off though.
Nice body kick there by Marciano.
Marciano scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Marciano scores with a kick to the body.
Helenius takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Helenius has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Marciano.
Helenius avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Marciano misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Helenius swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Marciano counters with a crisp right hand that drops Helenius! Marciano lets Helenius back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Helenius is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marciano defending well as Helenius loads up on a big left hand.
Marciano swings away with a leg kick that misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Helenius! But no joy.
Marciano lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Marciano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Helenius misses with a hook
and Marciano counters with a nice uppercut.
Marciano circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Helenius to the canvas! Helenius doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Marciano keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikey Marciano!
Mikey Marciano decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
