Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grigoriy Chugunov (ranked 3395 p4p, 24797 weight class) and Fabio Rabin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chugunov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I must break you.. Grigoriy Chugunov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabin scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Grigoriy Chugunov has been cut.

Chugunov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Chugunov distracts Rabin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rabin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chugunov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rabin's guard.
Rabin tries to kick Chugunov off but Chugunov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rabin has hold of Chugunov's hands but Chugunov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Rabin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chugunov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rabin is looking to escape.
Chugunov is nestled in close to Rabin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Chugunov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chugunov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rabin is still in real trouble! Can Chugunov finish him?
Chugunov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rabin looks a forlorn figure.
Rabin is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Chugunov unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Rabin wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Chugunov celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

In his post fight interview, Grigoriy Chugunov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
