PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferenc Fazekas (ranked 4063 p4p, 5002 weight class) and Franz Bruno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruno has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fazekas throws a jab but it's blocked by Bruno.
Bruno avoids the body shot from Fazekas.
Fazekas moves out of range as Bruno strikes.
Fazekas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bruno walks into a straight right hand from Fazekas.

That has opened up Franz Bruno's cut even more.
Bruno defending well as Fazekas loads up on a big left hand.
Fazekas sizes up Bruno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nice shot lands for Bruno.
Bruno slips under a jab.
Bruno misses with a looping left.
Bruno slips a straight right by Fazekas.
Fazekas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

The cut above Franz Bruno's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fazekas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bruno.
Fazekas looks to throw the jab but Bruno is out of range.
Fazekas throws a hook to the side of Bruno's head but Bruno sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Franz Bruno's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Franz Bruno's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
