Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Kilgore (ranked 5049 p4p, 5019 weight class) and Darnell Majesty (ranked 518 p4p, 516 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilgore moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by Kilgore.
Good exchange - Majesty coming out on top.
Kilgore bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Majesty's head.

It looks like Darnell Majesty has been cut.
Majesty pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kilgore throwing a counter right hand but Majesty manages to avoid it.
Majesty loads up on a big right hand but Kilgore slips the punch.
Majesty misses with a low kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Majesty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilgore was well out of range. Poor timing from Majesty.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Majesty is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kilgore had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Majesty lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

A lazy left from Kilgore finds it's target.

That has opened up Darnell Majesty's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Majesty throws a low kick but Kilgore avoids it.

Majesty lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Kilgore appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Kilgore counters with a solid body kick.
Kilgore throws a hook but Majesty blocks it.
Majesty throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kilgore, as that shot connected.
Kilgore misses with a kick to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Darnell Majesty's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Majesty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
It appears Kilgore was looking to counter with a kick there.
Kilgore connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Majesty defending well as Kilgore loads up on a big left hand.
Majesty stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kilgore.
Majesty throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kilgore counters with an outside leg kick.
Majesty just misses with a punch to the body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Majesty might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kilgore has got the better of the exchanges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kilgore lands a big head kick that sends Majesty tumbling to the mat! Kilgore takes a step backwards and waves Majesty back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A looping hook to the body misses from Majesty. Kilgore does a little dance to reset his feet.
Majesty is still on wobbly legs! Can Kilgore finish him?
A head kick by Kilgore - that's a beauty! Majesty is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kilgore can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jeremy Kilgore!
In his post fight interview, Jeremy Kilgore started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Darnell Majesty was interviewed post fight and said 'I failed myself, what an opponent.. Best of luck to ya Kilgore. I want a chance at you in the future, you got that?!'.
