Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neesum Mo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Marks!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mo thuds his right hand into Marks's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Marks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marks throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Mo counters with a nice uppercut.
Marks tries a head kick but it misses.
A big left from Mo misses.
Marks scores with a spinning back kick!
Marks connects with a solid leg kick.
Marks throws a nice head kick!
Marks throws a chopping leg kick but Mo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A little feinted left hand from Mo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mo checks a leg kick.
We've been told by Mo's head coaches at in shig we trust that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Marks throws a leg kick that misses.
Marks misses with a kick to the body.
Marks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crunch! Marks slams his shin into Mo's torso.
Mo looks to score with a jab to the body but Marks is just out of range.
Mo checks a leg kick.
Marks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marks looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Marks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mo misses with an uppercut. Marks saw that one coming.
Marks misses with a lunging right hand
and Mo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Jeremy Marks has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Mo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marks.
Marks misses with a leg kick
and Mo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marks throws a lazy head kick
and Mo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mo scores with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marks counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mo lands a nice looking body shot.
Marks scores with a head kick. Mo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A low kick from Marks misses
and Mo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marks throws a leg kick
and Mo counters with a nice right hand that sends Marks toppling to the canvas! Marks scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mo finish him?!
Marks looks for the body kick but Mo saw that one coming.
An attempted straight right counter from Mo misses the target.
Marks thows a leg kick but Mo checks it
and Mo counters with a big right hand! Oh Marks is in trouble here! Mo follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neesum Mo!
A relieved looking Neesum Mo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
