Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonis Papageorgiou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Papageorgiou swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Papageorgiou jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jefferson walks away with a smile on his face. Papageorgiou gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Papageorgiou is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Jefferson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
