Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Graham!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Graham saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Graham changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kevin Graham showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Graham has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Johnson finds it's way round the side to connect with Graham's head.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Graham sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Graham postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Graham is going olschool here, as he tries to force Johnson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Johnson shrugs it off.

Johnson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Graham dives on top into guard.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Graham is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Graham's back instead.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kevin Graham dominated that fourth round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Graham moves out of range as Johnson strikes.

Graham throws a left that rocks Johnson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Graham dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Johnson regain composure!

Well Graham has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
