Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mehmet Shakaromanov (ranked 2048 p4p, 2842 weight class) and Paddy Sly (ranked 255 p4p, 352 weight class). The key to victory for Mehmet Shakaromanov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mehmet Shakaromanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paddy Sly!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sly is looking to clinch.
Sly takes one on the button.
Shakaromanov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice jab there from Sly.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sly looks to land a left hand but Shakaromanov moved out of range nicely.
Shakaromanov cracks Sly with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sly is rocked!
Sly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sly is still on wobbly legs! Can Shakaromanov finish him?
Sly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shakaromanov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shakaromanov throws a jab but it's blocked by Sly.
Sly throws out a counter right but Shakaromanov avoids it with no problem.
Shakaromanov throws out a loose jab but Sly uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sly seems to have recovered his senses.
Sly defending well as Shakaromanov loads up on a big left hand.
Shakaromanov motions for Sly to come forward. Shakaromanov throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sly steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shakaromanov. That one must have hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shakaromanov cracks Sly with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Shakaromanov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sly to stand back up!
Shakaromanov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sly moves in looking to clinch but Shakaromanov pushes him off.
Shakaromanov throws a looping overhand right but Sly ducks down to avoid it.
Shakaromanov moves forwards but Sly connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shakaromanov misses with a straight right.
Shakaromanov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sly scores with a jab. Shakaromanov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Shakaromanov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sly tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shakaromanov misses with a hook. Sly ducked under it nicely.
Sly lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Shakaromanov drops Sly with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sly looks back up at him and smiles so Shakaromanov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sly tries to clinch up.
Are you kidding me?! Shakaromanov ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Sly clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mehmet Shakaromanov!
A less than humble Mehmet Shakaromanov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
