The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambe moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Andrew Lambe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lambe fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lambe misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Smith loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Lambe scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Smith land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Smith stands and salutes the crowd.
