Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Richards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay White!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a takedown attempt - Richards sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Richards lands a big shot that drops White! Can he finish him?

White is rocked!

White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
White is still in real trouble! Can Richards finish him?
Richards thows a big elbow that misses.
White seems to have recovered his senses.
Richards trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Richards avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White keeping moving, preventing Richards from controlling successfully.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richards gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
White looks gassed!

Richards trying to control but White is working from the bottom.

White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Richards doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Richards manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Richards throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
White looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Richards misses with the body kick

and White counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by White.
Richards wants to sweep here but White controlling him for the moment.

Richards is trying to control the position but White postures up.

White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Richards dives on top into guard.
Richards pushing down on White's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
White is staying active underneath Richards, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Richards fails with an attempt to clinch.
White misses with a hook. Richards ducked under it nicely.
Richards tries to close the distance and clinch but White swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

White clinches with his opponent.
Richards wants a takedown but no success here.
White drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
White blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
White tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Richards smiles and moves away.
Richards throws a looping overhand right but White ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards misses with a low kick.
Richards with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Richards throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
White is breathing heavily.
Richards with a nice cross.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Richards but Richards pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tyson Richards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay White.
Richards looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Richards cracks White with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! White looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Richards finish him?
Richards tries to land a front kick but White steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Richards on that attempt.
Richards cracks White with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Richards cracks a nice hook into White's ribs.
White slips a jab from Richards.
White avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Richards misses the jab.
Richards tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Richards to the mat! Richards manages to get full guard.

White is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Richards is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Richards has escaped and now he's on top!

This has been an exciting period of action!

White working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Richards has passed into half guard!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

White shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Richards stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A jab from Richards finds it's way through White's defenses.
Nice defenses there by White.
A slow jab from Richards misses its intended target.
Richards uses good head movement to avoid the hook from White.
Jay White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
White shoots in but Richards avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Richards dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Richards drops White with a straight right hand, right on the button! Richards follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
