Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond King (ranked 2397 p4p, 23472 weight class) and Hristo Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Raymond King has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Borisov.
Borisov wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
King defending against the ground and pound.
King is looking to regain half guard here but Borisov keeps moving and retains side control.
King is being controlled here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Borisov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
King can't do much from the bottom here.
King is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Borisov prevents King from improving his position.
Borisov is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Borisov throwing shots but King is blocking nicely.
Borisov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
King's coaches at London MMA Club have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

King is defending against the submission attempts here by Borisov.
King wants to control but Borisov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
King keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Borisov prevents King from improving his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Borisov slips a jab and a cross from King.
King lands a nice shot that snaps Borisov's head back.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Borisov moves out of range easily.
King misses with a takedown attempt - Borisov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
King lands a nice shot to the body.
King throws a right hand that Borisov ducks under and follows up with a left that Borisov also avoids with ease.
Borisov moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off.
Borisov shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily.

King fails with a takedown attempt.
Borisov throws a counter combo.
Borisov tries to clinch but King is having none of it.

King has taken the fight to the clinch.
King tries for a takedown but Borisov manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raymond King. That's going to take a lot out of him.

King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by King!
A looping hook to the body misses from Borisov. King does a little dance to reset his feet.
King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
King falls off balance throwing a combination

and Borisov counters with a nice double leg into side control. King won't be happy with that.
King is not content to let Borisov control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King tries to improve position but can't.
Borisov throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Borisov tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
King gets back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King throws a right and a left that both miss.
Borisov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Borisov takes a jab right on the kisser.
Borisov lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King throws a head kick but Borisov moves out of range.
Borisov tries to close the distance and clinch up but King swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King tries to bum rush Borisov with a series of wild strikes but Borisov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King has a takedown stuffed.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King is looking to get back to full guard here but Borisov has managed to pass to side control instead.

King is letting Borisov control him for a moment.
King can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King tries to bench press Borisov off him but Borisov keeps the position.
King tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
King tries to reverse the position but Borisov maintains control.
King tries to hold on but Borisov postures up.
King manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Borisov seems to be looking for submissions.
King is trying to stand.
King manages to get to full guard.
King is trying to hold Borisov in close to prevent damage but Borisov has managed to pass into half guard.
King desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Borisov missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Borisov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hristo Borisov has got the better of the ground game so far.
Borisov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Borisov is pressing down on King's thigh, looking to free his foot. King is holding on for now.
King trying to control but Borisov postures up.
Borisov wants to stand up but King is controlling the position.
King works his way to full guard. Good work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

King is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Borisov has his hands clasped together but King extends and breaks Borisov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by King.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Raymond King!
