Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tero Lal (ranked 4207 p4p, 4117 weight class) and Beau Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lal has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lal there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lal moves forwards but Lewis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lal is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lal tries a head kick but it misses.
Lal's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lewis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lal scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Tero Lal has been cut.
Lal tries to clinch there but Lewis circles away.
Lewis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lal closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Lewis is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lal had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters circle momentarily. Lewis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lewis might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
