Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas scores with a punch to the head.
Sabatory misses with a takedown attempt
and Lucas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Lou Sabatory has been cut.
Lou Sabatory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabatory fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lucas avoids it really well and circles away.
It looked like Lucas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Lucas clinches up against the cage.

Sabatory works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lucas is adopting a defensive guard.
Lucas seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lucas tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lucas keeps control of the position as Sabatory tries to break free.
Lucas is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sabatory tries to escape but Lucas has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Lucas wants to take a breather but Sabatory is having none of it.

Lucas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sabatory has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lucas has managed to get both his arms back between Sabatory's legs - danger averted.

Sabatory working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lucas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lucas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lucas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sabatory on the ground.
