Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gino Leite (ranked 5630 p4p, 24616 weight class) and Eric Winston (ranked 556 p4p, 648 weight class). Gino Leite could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eric Winston's chin.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite throws a poor cross that misses
and Winston counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Gino Leite has been cut.
Winston throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Leite's head.

and Winston finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Leite shoots in and drives through. Winston sprawls well.

Winston's coach down at Temple of Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Winston's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Leite looks to land a combination but Winston avoids it well.

and Winston counters with a low kick, right behind Leite 's knee.

Leite could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Eric Winston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gino Leite's cut is getting worse.
Leite walks forward, straight into a front kick from Winston.
Leite changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Winston tries to avoid it but Leite manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Winston to the ground. Winston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Winston explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Leite is breathing heavily.

Leite has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Winston.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Winston lands a big head kick that sends Leite tumbling to the mat! Winston takes a step backwards and waves Leite back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gino Leite's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Winston avoids the body shot from Leite.
Leite tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Winston moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Leite is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Winston throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Winston throws a leg kick which misses Leite's front leg but catches the back leg as Leite tries to avoid it.
Leite takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Leite with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Winston to score with a decent uppercut.
Leite shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Leite. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Winston fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leite.
Leite takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
