Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Paulson (ranked 4638 p4p, 4879 weight class) and Sam Guinness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Guinness!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guinness scores with a jab to the jaw.

Paulson pushes Guinness up against the cage in a clinch.
Paulson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Guinness wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Guinness is trying to break the clinch but Paulson has him pressed against the cage.

Guinness pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Guinness throws a hook to the side of Paulson's head but Paulson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Paulson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Guinness tries to score a power double leg takedown but Paulson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guinness somewhat.

Paulson drops Guinness with a big knee straight up the middle! Guinness is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Sam Guinness has been cut.

Paulson closes the distance and pushes Guinness back into the cage.
Paulson jerks Guinness's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Guinness drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Paulson goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Paulson because Guinness was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Jake Paulson!
