Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu (ranked 334 p4p, 460 weight class) and Lennart Hohenthal (ranked 21 p4p, 31 weight class). Fukumitsu comes to the cage accompanied by you should see me in a crown. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lennart Hohenthal!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukumitsu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

It looks like Lennart Hohenthal has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hohenthal has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fukumitsu is looking to stand back up but Hohenthal counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fukumitsu.

Fukumitsu has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hohenthal is on him like a limpet, forcing Fukumitsu back against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hohenthal postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Fukumitsu out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hohenthal goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
