Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ice Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Helio De Lima!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Lima tries for a takedown but Black circles away easily
and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
De Lima manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Black on his heels. He'll look to pass Black's guard now, I'm sure.
De Lima postures up and lands a big shot to Black's brow.
De Lima controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Lima is looking to work some ground and pound but Black has wrist control.
De Lima throwing strikes but missing.
Black has momentary wrist control but De Lima slips an elbow through the middle.
De Lima working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Black's head.
De Lima with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Lima accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
De Lima is in close to Black's body, working some short punches and elbows.
De Lima trying to control the position from guard on top but Black is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

De Lima stands up over Black, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Lima on the ground.

Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position.

Black is looking to stand up but De Lima isn't so interested in that idea.
De Lima lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Black wants to get back to his feet but De Lima is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
De Lima is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

De Lima is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells De Lima's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
It looks like Ice Black has been cut.

De Lima content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Black can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as De Lima controls the pace.
De Lima lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

De Lima is pushing down on Black's leg trying to pass to half guard. Black is fighting to maintain full guard but De Lima has managed to sneak the leg through.
De Lima scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. De Lima lands a nice short elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. De Lima connects with a nice short shot to Black's temple.
De Lima wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
De Lima takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ice Black's cut is getting worse.

De Lima lands a big elbow - Black is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for De Lima!
