Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Aceves (ranked 3112 p4p, 3328 weight class) and Johnny Munoz (ranked 327 p4p, 348 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aceves throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Munoz.

Munoz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Aceves to the ground. Munoz is now in Aceves's guard.
Munoz is in close to Aceves's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Munoz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Munoz is working Aceves over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Aceves definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Aceves wants to sweep here but Munoz controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Munoz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Munoz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Munoz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munoz throws a big elbow that misses.
Aceves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Munoz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Munoz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Munoz winds up and cracks Aceves with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Aceves is rocked!
Munoz postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Aceves badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Munoz around the waist but Munoz pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Munoz is the winner by TKO! Munoz jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
