The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Smelly. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
Smelly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smelly throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Smelly.
Smelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Smelly.
Brad Smelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a solid leg kick but Smelly takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gracie.
Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.

Smelly feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
Smelly catches Gracie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Mike Gracie has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smelly tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Mike Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
