Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salyn Sarethi (ranked 511 p4p, 327 weight class) and Manny Tavares (ranked 73 p4p, 51 weight class). Sarethi comes to the cage accompanied by Blue Ice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Manny Tavares!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarethi misses with a few strikes there.
Sarethi throws a jab but it's blocked by Tavares.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tavares! But no joy.

Tavares has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sarethi is landing a low percentage of strikes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Salyn Sarethi will probably get the nod.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sarethi, as that shot connected.
Oh Sarethi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tavares was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Sarethi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tavares Throws a clean left jab. Tavares Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Sarethi's chin! Sarethi crumbles to the ground and Tavares follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Tavares!
