Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeong Hoon Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kakashi Hataki!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai scores with a hook.
Chai gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hataki.
Hataki has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Chai swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hataki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chai misses the jab.
Chai wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Chai misses with a hook.
Chai lands a nice looking body shot.
Chai lands with a good body shot.
Chai scores with a nice head shot.
Hataki avoids the body shot from Chai.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chai lands a nice shot that snaps Hataki's head back.
Chai thumps Hataki with a low kick.
Hataki on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A solid body kick from Chai.
Hataki takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hataki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chai.
Chai lands with a straight right. Hataki didn't see that one coming.

We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Chai connects with a nice looking jab.
Chai scores with a shot to the body.
Chai throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A jab from Chai finds it's way through Hataki's defenses.
Hataki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chai connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hataki scrambles back to his feet.
Chai thumps Hataki with a low kick.
That kick from Chai tenderised Hataki's leg. Hataki is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hataki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Chai scores with a kick to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chai takes one on the button.
Chai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hataki on the side of the head.
Chai thuds a left hand into Hataki's body.
Hataki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chai manages to avoid it.
Chai feints and then cracks Hataki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hataki down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hataki lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Chai sprawling to the canvas. Hataki follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Chai hang on?

It looks like Jeong Hoon Chai has been cut.
Hataki is looking to advance position but Chai won't allow it.
Hataki trying to control from half guard but Chai is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hataki perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hataki wants to take a breather but Chai is having none of it.
Hataki is pressing down on Chai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chai is holding on for now.
Hataki thows a huge punch but Chai dodges it nicely.

Hataki is looking for a kimura but Chai is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hataki to get the leverage.
Hataki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hataki wants to control but Chai is keeping him busy.
Hataki looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Hataki not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hataki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hataki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Chai avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hataki.
Chai tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hataki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Chai prevents Hataki from improving position.
Hataki in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Hataki in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Chai is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kakashi Hataki!
After the big win, Kakashi Hataki made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Carnage and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
