Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gerwazy Babula (ranked 1205 p4p, 1864 weight class) and Vinyl Tintley (ranked 168 p4p, 237 weight class). Babula comes to the cage accompanied by Hey Buddy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gerwazy Babula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vinyl Tintley!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babula takes the fight into the clinch.
Babula effectively controlling the action here.
I was talking to Babula's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A shot in the inside from Babula.
Tintley misses with a short punch on the inside.
Tintley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tintley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Babula can't fight it off and eventually Tintley manages to take the fight to the floor. Babula looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tintley slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tintley works to advance to full mount. Babula defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Babula prevents Tintley from taking his back.
Tintley trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Tintley wants to finish this one by submission but Babula is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tintley.

Tintley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tintley looking to control but Babula is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You get the feeling that Babula really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tintley goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Babula is on top in guard.

Babula wanted to stand there but Tintley had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tintley has his foot on Babula's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Babula works his way back into a safe position though.
Babula tries to stand but Tintley is controlling from the bottom.
Tintley is looking to cinch up a triangle. Babula throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tintley's body to avoid the submission. Tintley has instead reached around Babula's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tintley arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Vinyl Tintley!
Post fight, Vinyl Tintley took to the microphone: 'Hey! Put me in that title conversation! Whether I get that title shot next or have to fight for a title elimination bout! Let's go!'.
