Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akbia misses with a body kick.
Rhianna tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Akbia or perhaps it was just good defense by Rhianna which made him look bad.
Rhianna throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Akbia lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Akbia waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Rhianna.
Rhianna keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A combination from Rhianna does no damage.
Akbia tries to clinch up.
The fighters circling - Akbia throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Rhianna throws a sloppy head kick and Akbia moves out of range easily.
Akbia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rhianna misses with a jab, cross combination.

Rhianna misses with a series of wild punches.
Rhianna lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Akbia doesn't manage to clinch there - Rhianna circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Akbia is struggling to control the position.
Rhianna lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Good body shot from Rhianna.
Akbia goes for a takedown attempt but Rhianna pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amil Akbia. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Akbia connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A low kick from Rhianna is predictable there
and Akbia makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice inside leg kick there by Akbia. That's going to slow Rhianna down.
Akbia shoots in but Rhianna avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Rhianna counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Akbia misses with a series of wild punches.
Robyn Rhianna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Akbia fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Akbia is breathing heavily.
Akbia throws a sloppy head kick and Rhianna moves out of range easily.
Akbia tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Rhianna counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Akbia lands with a straight right. Rhianna didn't see that one coming.

Rhianna scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rhianna swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Akbia counters with a head kick.

Akbia throws a sloppy head kick
and Rhianna counters with a three punch combo that has Akbia backing up. Akbia nods at Rhianna to acknowledge the strikes.
Rhianna is still on wobbly legs! Can Akbia finish him?
Akbia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rhianna sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Akbia throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Rhianna colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Akbia as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Rhianna is left battered and dazed whilst Akbia and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amil Akbia!
