The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merinashvili has closed the distance and engaged Rocha Barros in a clinch.
Merinashvili pulls guard.
Rocha Barros got a little sloppy there for a moment and Merinashvili has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rocha Barros has managed to get both his arms back between Merinashvili's legs - danger averted.
Rocha Barros slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rocha Barros tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rocha Barros has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Merinashvili sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rocha Barros's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Merinashvili moves into full mount! Rocha Barros won't be happy about that!

Zirko Merinashvili dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Merinashvili looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rocha Barros is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Merinashvili.
Merinashvili darts in and clinches Rocha Barros up against the cage.

Rocha Barros is looking to defend but Merinashvili has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rocha Barros! Merinashvili pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rocha Barros taps out and this one is all over!
