Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uwot Meight (ranked 1492 p4p, 1146 weight class) and Pelosi Davito (ranked 202 p4p, 162 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davito throws a right and a left that Meight avoids nicely.
Meight takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Davito tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Meight was well out of range. Poor timing from Davito.
Meight throws a big shot that misses.

Pelosi Davito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Meight went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Davito jabs Meight right on the nose. Meight blinks but takes it well.

Davito lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Meight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davito.

Davito might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Davito is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Meight had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Oh Meight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Meight takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Meight seems to have got his legs back now.
Davito scores with a jab.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Meight might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Meight looks to throw the jab but Davito is out of range.
Davito fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Meight on the side of the head.
Meight throws a lazy uppercut
and Davito counters with a big right hand! Oh Meight is in trouble here! Davito follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
