The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jungle is looking to clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jungle or perhaps it was just good defense by Lawson, which made it look bad.
Lawson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jungle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jungle lands strikes from half guard.
Jungle controlling the action here.
Jungle is thwarting Lawson's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jungle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jungle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jungle is nestled in close to Lawson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lawson is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Jungle has latched onto it... Big trouble! Jungle pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Lawson is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Jungle!
