Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kurya Peshernek (ranked 4293 p4p, 4038 weight class) and Henriy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kurya Peshernek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henriy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots and misses
and Peshernek counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Henriy Jones has been cut.
Jones dives in and grabs Peshernek's left leg, looking for a takedown. Peshernek pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
As Jones looks to move away, Peshernek throws a big counter combo but Jones just gets out of the way.

Kurya Peshernek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henriy Jones.

and Peshernek counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Peshernek finish him?!

Jones is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jones is still in real trouble! Can Peshernek finish him?

Jones wants to control but Peshernek is keeping him busy.

Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peshernek knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.

Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Peshernek is defending well.
Jones slows the pace down.
Peshernek might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Peshernek is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Peshernek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peshernek is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Peshernek trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jones in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Peshernek is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
