Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Biniyam Shibre!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eye scores with a shot to the body.
Shibre throws a push kick but Eye slaps the foot to one side.
Shibre scores with a kick to the body.
We've been informed that Shibre has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Eye comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Shibre misses with a body kick.
Shibre looks to score with a jab to the body but Eye is just out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Eye lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shibre has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shibre and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Shibre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eye moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Eye counters with a one-two to the body.

Shibre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Shibre throws a looping overhand right but Eye ducks down to avoid it.

Shibre is trying to maintain a safe position but Eye gets an underhook and turns Shibre into the cage.
Shibre connects with a nasty looking knee right to Eye's face.

Shibre tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A left hand lands to the body for Eye.

Eye lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Shibre backwards.
Shibre tries to stall but Eye uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Eye breaks from the clinch.

Eye stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Eye moves out of range of the body kick from Shibre.
Shibre takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Shibre connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Shibre is still on wobbly legs! Can Eye finish him?
Shibre throws a right and a left that Eye avoids nicely.
Shibre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Eye lands a jab to the head.
Eye connects with a body shot.
Eye drops Shibre with a huge uppercut! Shibre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Eye is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
