The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aerts misses with a jab to the body
and Hoost counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Aerts. Hoost does a little dance to reset his feet.
Aerts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoost sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It seemed like Hoost was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Peter Aerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good exchange - Aerts coming out on top.
Aerts lands a right hook to the body.
Aerts lands a glancing blow to the side of Hoost's head.
