Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Duggan (ranked 1944 p4p, 4040 weight class) and Jisoo Oh (ranked 264 p4p, 493 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jisoo Oh!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oh dives in and scores a takedown into Duggan's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oh preventing the sweep.
Duggan is looking to sweep but instead, Oh has passed into half guard.
Oh passes the guard and advances to mount!
Oh looking to control and managing it successfully.
Duggan slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oh is keen to just control but Duggan is a slippery customer.
Oh throwing shots but Duggan is blocking nicely.

Duggan is looking for a sweep. Oh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Oh trying to control the position but Duggan is working away.
Oh is trying to ground and pound but Duggan uses the momentary lack of control by Oh to regain half guard.
Well, if Oh is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Duggan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Oh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Oh's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Duggan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oh is working away from the top position though.

Oh keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Oh.
Oh checks a leg kick nicely.
Oh drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Duggan defends it well.
Oh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oh avoids the head kick by Duggan.
Oh darts in looking for a takedown but Duggan gets double underhooks and turns Oh into the cage.
Oh walks into a left hand.
Oh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duggan as he jumps to the side.
Jim Duggan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jisoo Oh.
Oh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Duggan defends well and Oh ends up having to push Duggan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

It looks like Jisoo Oh has been cut.
That kick from Duggan tenderised Oh's leg. Oh is trying to keep his angry face on.
Duggan connects with a body shot.

Oh shoots in but Duggan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Oh shoots in looking for a takedown but Duggan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Duggan throwing a counter right hand but Oh manages to avoid it.

Oh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duggan but Duggan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
It looked like Duggan was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Oh.
Oh shoots for a takedown but Duggan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Duggan is looking to counter the offense by Oh and move into the clinch.
Oh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Oh fails with the takedown
and Duggan counters with a big head kick but Oh shrugs it off.

Oh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Oh trying to control from half guard but Duggan is working away.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Oh working his ground and pound in the gym.
Duggan is positioning himself well to prevent Oh advancing to mount.

Duggan is working hard here to advance position.
Duggan is trying to control but can't.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duggan wants to sweep but Oh has passed to side control!

Oh wants to control but Duggan is keeping him busy.
Oh tries to move into full mount but can't pass Duggan's legs.
Duggan tries to bench press Oh off him but Oh keeps the position.
Duggan trying his best to control but Oh has mounted him.
Oh has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Duggan's face.
Jisoo Oh has got the better of the ground game so far.

Duggan tries to lock up and control but Oh gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

BOOM! Oh connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jim Duggan will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jisoo Oh's cut.

Oh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Duggan tries to get to full guard but Oh has control of the leg.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Oh with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

I think Oh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
