Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dixon comes to the cage accompanied by It's A Fight by Three 6 Mafia. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Dixon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Dixon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gracie throws a head kick but Dixon moves out of range.
Dixon digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs.

Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dixon!
Dixon is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dixon because Gracie loaded up on that one.

Gracie throws some wild stikes that Dixon manages to avoid easily.

Dixon tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dixon is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Gracie wants to advance to full mount but Dixon doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Gracie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dixon's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gracie moves forwards but Dixon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rickson Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dixon counters with a single leg into guard. Gracie didn't expect that.
Dixon wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dixon won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dixon's guard.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Dixon is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.

Dixon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dixon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dixon trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Dixon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dixon won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Dixon wants to stand and escape but instead Gracie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That's time! Dixon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Gracie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dixon counters with a right hand to the body.
Dixon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Dixon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dixon throws a combination that misses

and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Dixon fights it but they end up in guard.

Dixon manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Dixon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Dixon counters with a one-two to the body.

and Dixon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dixon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.
