The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cardillo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mountain knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cardillo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mountain has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cardillo but great work by Mountain.

Mountain tries to move to mount but Cardillo blocks the move with his legs.
Cardillo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Cardillo is looking for a kimura but Mountain is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cardillo to get the leverage.

Mountain prevents Cardillo from taking his back.
Cardillo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Cardillo looking for a guillotine from mount but Mountain is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cardillo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mountain manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mountain wants to control but Cardillo postures up.
Cardillo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mountain's shoulder. That is not cool.
Cardillo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Cardillo has hold of Mountain's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mountain tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cardillo cranks the arm and Mountain screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mountain, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Antonio Cardillo!
