Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rice Pilaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Mcgiven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pilaf's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, chinese rap. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilaf tries to clinch there but Mcgiven circles away.
Mcgiven has a takedown stuffed.

Pilaf instigates a clinch.

Pilaf jumps into guard, dragging Mcgiven to the mat.
Mcgiven wants to control from the top but Pilaf keeps moving.

Mcgiven has gone for a leg lock! Pilaf slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcgiven's guard.

Mcgiven has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pilaf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pilaf tries for a kimura but Mcgiven is defending well.
Mcgiven tries to buck Pilaf off but Pilaf is having none of it.

Pilaf stands up and beckons Mcgiven to his feet.

Mcgiven feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pilaf manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcgiven manages to get himself to full guard.

Pilaf gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Pilaf wants to clinch.

Mcgiven gets a clinch.
Mcgiven drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pilaf gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pilaf is looking to break free of the clinch but Mcgiven has double underhooks.

Pilaf ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pilaf no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pilaf wants to sweep but no luck.

Mcgiven drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcgiven jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pilaf thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Mcgiven works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Mcgiven is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Pilaf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mcgiven's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mcgiven's back!
Pilaf cracks Mcgiven with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Mcgiven from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Pilaf is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Pilaf is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Mcgiven knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Mcgiven for a finish.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pilaf is on top in guard.

Mcgiven working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pilaf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pilaf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mcgiven can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pilaf controls the pace.

Oh but Mcgiven is tightening it up a little... Pilaf has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pilaf reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pilaf taps out! nice BJJ there by Mcgiven!
