Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nasu Morikatsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Lingfield!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lingfield lands with a nice body punch.
Lingfield displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Morikatsu throws out the jab.

Morikatsu ducks straight into an uppercut from Lingfield and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Morikatsu manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Nasu Morikatsu has been cut.
Lingfield slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lingfield working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

A very excited looking Jim Lingfield rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
