Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kerzie Scaggs (ranked 3424 p4p, 2401 weight class) and The Island Sparbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scaggs has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparbot bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sparbot's coach down at Elite Boxing Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sparbot's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Scaggs misses with a hook. Sparbot ducked under it nicely.
Sparbot slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sparbot keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scaggs.
Sparbot throws a right hand that misses
and Scaggs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sparbot jabs at Scaggs's body.
Scaggs is breathing heavily.
Sparbot digs a good hook to Scaggs's body.
Sparbot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scaggs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sparbot throws a series of punches but Scaggs avoids them all with ease.
Sparbot punishes Scaggs's body with a nice straight punch.
Scaggs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sparbot digs a good hook to Scaggs's body.
Sparbot connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scaggs walks into a stiff left hand from Sparbot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sparbot stalks Scaggs and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scaggs's face. Scaggs staggers backwards, shaken.
Scaggs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sparbot.
Sparbot pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Scaggs wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Sparbot connects with a right that clearly hurt Scaggs. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Sparbot proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Scaggs collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Island Sparbot!
The Island Sparbot was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
