Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zico Verhoeven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry Lee!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Lee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Verhoeven momentarily.
Lee scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Verhoeven beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Verhoeven throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zico Verhoeven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Verhoeven moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Verhoeven circles away quickly and effectively.
Verhoeven walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Verhoeven is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Larry Lee!
Our winner, Larry Lee, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
