Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Ringo (ranked 4309 p4p, 4362 weight class) and Hoppy TestNine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Ringo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hoppy TestNine!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt TestNine.
TestNine misses with an uppercut. Ringo saw that one coming.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ringo. That's going to slow TestNine down.
That kick from Ringo tenderised TestNine's leg. TestNine is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ringo doesn't manage to clinch there - TestNine circles away.
And TestNine tries to counter it with a takedown but Ringo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ringo looks to land a left hand but TestNine moved out of range nicely.
Ringo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by TestNine.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ringo.
TestNine misses with a looping right.
Nice body kick there by Ringo.
TestNine throws a hook to the side of Ringo's head but Ringo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ringo moves away from the strike by TestNine.
TestNine moves out of range of the body kick.
Ringo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
TestNine changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Ringo misses the jab.
Ringo tries to clinch up.
Ringo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
TestNine shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ringo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
TestNine is fighting to break Ringo's control of his arms but Ringo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
TestNine lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
TestNine content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
TestNine stays in close to Ringo's body and controls the position.
TestNine passes easily into side control. Nice work.
TestNine has hold of Ringo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ringo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - TestNine cranks the arm and Ringo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ringo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Hoppy TestNine!
