Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Torres (ranked 4240 p4p, 3535 weight class) and Jaedong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaedong Lee has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tyler Torres's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lee looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Torres.
Torres pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Torres throws a nice looking combination but Lee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Torres forces Lee back against the cage and clinches.
Torres lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Torres turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Torres manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Lee's face as Torres controls the position.

Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Torres.

Torres shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Torres seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.

Torres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Torres tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Torres has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Torres working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Torres wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well.

Lee wants to control but Torres postures up.
Lee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Torres cracks Lee with a big right hand but Lee just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Torres is looking for a kimura but Lee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Torres to get the leverage.

Torres is taking a breather. Lee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Torres is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lee defends it well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Torres moves into the clinch.
Torres lands an elbow that stopped Lee in his tracks for a moment.

Torres ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Torres no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Torres has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage.
Torres continues to stall.

Tyler Torres overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Torres is pulling down on Lee's head to control his posture.
Torres is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lee is controlling him.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lee wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Torres clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage.

Torres breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Torres is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lee to the mat. Lee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Torres throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Torres finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lee is looking to stand back up but Torres counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lee.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Torres cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Torres's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Torres is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lee has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Lee is desperately trying to improve his position but Torres has a good base and remains in mount.
Torres takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Torres is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
