The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chestner throws out a loose jab but Nogueira uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nogueira lands a head kick!
Chestner throws a lazy right hand but Nogueira sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice shot lands for Nogueira .
Chestner throws a body punch but Nogueira moves out of range.
Nogueira throws a right hand that Chestner ducks under and follows up with a left that Chestner also avoids with ease.

Chestner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

and Nogueira counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looked like Chestner was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Chestner was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nogueira .

and Nogueira takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nogueira throws a sloppy head kick and Chestner moves out of range easily.

Nogueira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chestner's head.
Chestner cracks Nogueira with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nogueira misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Chestner counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chestner is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Nogueira tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chestner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Chestner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nogueira defends it easily.

Chestner pushes a forearm under Nogueira 's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Nogueira is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

A very excited looking Brad Chestner rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
