The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keji misses with a left hand
enabling Sapo to counter with a crisp jab.
We've been hearing reports that Sapo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sapo lands a nice shot that snaps Keji's head back.
Sapo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Keji throws out the jab.
Keji slips a straight right by Sapo.
A little jabbing left from Keji on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sapo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sapo misses with an uppercut
and Keji counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keji lands a big right hand that sends Sapo crashing to the mat! Keji stays standing though and waves Sapo back to his feet!
Sapo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Keji throws a lazy right hand but Sapo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sapo is looking to counter punch.
Oh Sapo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Keji lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sapo. Sapo tries to recover but Keji is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sapo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdul Keji!
