Tristan St. Gough told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St. Gough has Taneyev up against the cage in a clinch.

St. Gough tries to clinch there but Taneyev circles away.

St. Gough's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

St. Gough tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taneyev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

St. Gough fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Taneyev, pushing him back against the cage.

St. Gough misses with a punch on the inside.

We've been informed that St. Gough has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

A short body shot lands from Taneyev as the two fighters clinch.

Taneyev lands a big head kick that sends St. Gough tumbling to the mat! Taneyev takes a step backwards and waves St. Gough back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tristan St. Gough has been cut.

and Taneyev counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks St. Gough out cold! What a finish! Taneyev is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
